The mission of NorthStar Counseling Center has always been to provide excellent therapeutic services and our waiting list is proof of our success. Our support staff are well versed with the skills and preferences of each therapist and are thoughtful and deliberate in matching a new client to the right therapist. Therapists are Contractors and are able to be selective in taking clients that match the expertise they offer.
Right now, our main clientele need is for services for children ages 8-17 followed by adult women. Although therapists with experience in those areas is a plus, we have demand for a wide range of services. Our current therapists have experience in the following areas:
Addiction, Adoption, Anxiety, Attachment, ADHD, Autism, Behavior Issues, Bi-polar disorder, Coping, Conflict Management, Depression, Divorce & Blended Families, Dual Diagnosis, Greif, Marriage & Relational Challenges, OCD, Personality Disorders, Post-Partum Depression, Self Esteem, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma/PTSD, & Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Competitive Pay & Schedule Flexibility:
Independently Licensed Mental Health Professional Option 1: PAY: Providers are 1099 Contractors for a minimum of 18 direct client hours per week and a minimum of 48 weeks per year. Pay is a flat percentage of income. Schedule: Schedule is determined by the provider. Support staff is available Monday – Thursday 8 – 5PM and limited on Fridays.
Independently Licensed Mental Health Professional Option 2: Providers are 1099 Contractors for a minimum of 22 direct client hours per week and a minimum of 48 weeks per year. Pay is a percentage of income and the percentage increases at various income tiers. The maximum tier is 70%. Schedule: Schedule is determined by the provider. Support staff is available Monday – Thursday 8 – 5PM and limited on Fridays.
Not Independently Licensed Mental Health Practitioners: Providers are 1099 Contractors for a minimum of 22 direct client hours per week and a minimum of 48 weeks per year – in line with their licensure requirement. Pay is a percentage of income which is not as high as Independently Licensed Professionals and is not subject to the tier increases. Two hours of free weekly supervision is included. Schedule: Schedule is determined by the provider. Support staff is available Monday – Thursday 8 – 5PM and limited on Fridays.
